The timetable on the screens around school
With dashboards in EDUos Web, a school puts the timetable, changes, the floor plan and other news on the screens in its buildings. Built by the school itself, screen by screen.
North location Main hall
Wednesday 4 November
This screen is empty. Switch a part on.
When the phone stays in the bag
A timetable on your phone is handy, but at school the phone comes out less and less. Anyone looking for a room, or checking whether a lesson goes ahead, looks at a screen in the hall or the corridor instead.
Screens help in vocational schools, universities of applied sciences and universities too: in large buildings, for visitors and for anyone without the app at hand.

2024
Phones out of the classroom
Since 1 January 2024, mobile phones have stayed out of the classroom in Dutch secondary schools.
-
2027
The whole school day
From 1 January 2027, the Dutch government wants phones in primary and secondary schools to stay at home or in a locker for the whole school day, breaks included.
What you can put on a screen
A dashboard is made of parts. The school chooses which ones and where they go, and other information can go on too.
-
Timetable per class
Where each class has its lesson now and next, with the room. Students find their lesson without a phone.
-
Changes
Lessons that are cancelled or move to another room, straight from the timetable in EDUos Web.
-
Floor plan
The floor with rooms in use and free, and where you are standing.
-
Weather
The weather now and for the next few hours.
-
Public transport
Departures of the buses and trains near school.
-
News, date and time
School announcements as a ticker, with the date and a clock.
How it works
You build dashboards in EDUos Web, where the timetable already lives.
Build
Choose the parts of a dashboard and decide where they go.
Choose screens
Put a dashboard on one screen or on several at once: in the hall, in a corridor or at another location.
Up to date
When the timetable changes in EDUos Web, the screen shows the change. Nobody has to update anything.
On your own screens or through your screen provider
Does the school already have screens from a provider? Then nothing needs to change.
Straight from EDUos Web
A screen with a web browser shows the dashboard itself, such as a smart TV or a small computer behind the screen.
Through the API Marketplace
EDUos shares information with connected screen providers through the API Marketplace. They show it in their own system.
The school decides
For each provider, the school decides whether anything is shared, and what. Nothing leaves on its own.
The school stays in charge
You manage dashboards and screens in EDUos Web, just like the timetable and the app.
- A dashboard of its own per location, building or screen
- One dashboard on several screens at once
- Decide which information goes on which screen
- Share information with a screen provider, only when the school wants to
